On November 3, 2023, following the annual National Friday Remembrance meeting and prayers for peace in Nigeria, held in Katsina, the chief leader of the Tijjaniyyah sect in Nigeria, Shaikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, represented by his eldest son, As-Sayyadi Ibrahim Dahiru Usman Bauchi, extended a friendly visit to religious leaders in Katsina state.

During this visit, Sheikh Ibrahim Dahiru Bauchi and his team met with scholars, including Sheikh Yakubu Musa Hasan from the Ahlus-Sunnah (Izala) faction and Sheikh Yaqoub Yahaya from the Muslim Brotherhood, known as Shiite. Their visit aimed to promote unity and lasting peace within the Muslim community, with a particular focus on addressing security challenges in the North West region and the nation.

The discussions held during this visit centered around the concerns of the Muslim community in Nigeria, with a shared goal of enhancing unity among its members.

In a heartwarming gesture, special prayers were offered for the Palestinian people in their struggle against the state of Israel, which has occupied their land for years and committed various injustices against them. This act further exemplifies the spirit of unity and compassion.

To commemorate the occasion, Sheikh Yakub Yahaya Katsina presented a thoughtful gift to As-sayid Ibrahim, the renowned religious teacher and son of Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, symbolizing the harmonious relations fostered by this visit.
